Lahra Tatriele is an executive wellness strategist and business development entrepreneur. She brings extensive experience creating and executing innovative models for high growth markets in the U.S., Asia and Europe and is recognised as an innovative leader in strategy, design and development. Lahra cofounded and built the award-winning wellness destinations, Fivelements in Bali and Hong Kong. More recently, she cofounded Wellness Communities Italia with a mission to create iconic, sustainable and economically vibrant communities that thrive for generations. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Wellness Architecture & Design Initiative and member of the Mental Wellness Initiative of the Global Wellness Institute.

A Korean-born New Yorker from NYU's Stern School of Business who also lived in Tokyo, Paris, San Francisco, Shanghai, Singapore, Bali, Hong Kong and Milan, Lahra's background originated in strategic planning and business development with multi-nationals in the healthcare, hospitality and high tech industries. During this time, she focused on the development of progressive brand strategies for new and emerging markets.

In 2007, united in a journey for the 'wellness of humanity,' Lahra cofounded Fivelements with her husband, Chicco, as an integrated wellness lifestyle brand, pioneering a new genre of eco-wellness destinations bridging the wisdom of traditional healing cultures with innovative wellness concepts. In 2010, they launched Fivelements Retreat Bali. In 2016, they opened the urban retreat, Fivelements Hong Kong and a city wellness sanctuary, Fivelements Habitat, in the central business district in 2019. Under the cofounders' direction, Fivelements achieved unparalleled recognition across wellness hospitality, culinary innovation and sustainable design industries and is regarded as one of the most innovative brands in the global wellness economy.

In 2018, the cofounders successfully sold Fivelements to Navis Capital, Singapore and Oaktree Capital, USA under the Evolution Wellness portfolio. As Chief Innovation Officer, Lahra was instrumental in creating the integrated growth strategy, including curating new urban wellness concepts, adaptable eco-wellness design and new business models for scale.

He also cofounded Live Work Learn Play Italia dedicated to regenerating and revitalising Italian villages, districts and regions. Chicco is a member of the Mental Wellness Initiative, Wellness Communities & Real Estate Initiative and Vice Chair of the Sound Wellness Initiative of the Global Wellness Institute.

In 1998, Chicco cofounded Mandala Creative Productions, an international production company renowned for curating the most memorable visual representations in photography, motions, digital art and events. The company represents a diverse collection of photographers and filmmakers working with award-winning creative agencies and distinguished global brands. Chicco serves as a Strategic Advisor and Executive Producer.

Chicco later developed a passion for Asia and was among the first to begin promoting private villas as an alternative to hotel/resort accommodations. Over the years, he introduced this new market niche to the European market with personalised hospitality experiences, which helped catalyse Bali as an attractive destination for upscale travellers.

In 2007, Chicco co-created the integrative wellness lifestyle brand, Fivelements, with his wife, Lahra, as a new genre of eco-conscious wellness destinations bridging the wisdom of traditional healing cultures with innovative wellness concepts. Together, the cofounders launched their first destination retreat in Bali in 2010 and two urban wellness destinations in Hong Kong in 2016 and 2019. Under the co-founders' direction, Fivelements, achieved unparalleled international acclaim across wellness hospitality and sustainable design fields.

As President, Chicco was the key principal to secure the sale of Fivelements in 2018 to private equity firms, Navis Capital, Singapore and Oaktree Capital, USA. He then led the structuring efforts of Fivelements under the Evolution Wellness holding company and the implementation of the new city wellness model, Fivelements Habitat.

With a shared mission for the 'wellness of humanity,' Chicco and Lahra cofounded Alchemy Concepts and Live Work Learn Play Italia with a focus on Placemaking and Wellness Lifestyle as a core strategy toward catalysing economic vitality and national wellbeing.
